This place was exceptional! If I could eat here every weekend I totally would! Sadly, I don't live in the area. The interior was unlike anything I've ever seen. Lots of different levels, different designs and decor, and very eclectic: almost Hogwarts feeling in a roundabout way. Then throw in some live music with a bluegrass band and I felt like I was at Silver Dollar City.
It was an almost surreal experience! Upon entering for the Sunday lunch, you find your name at your table. You then can grab your own pitcher of tea for the table or even make your own coffee. Then when those doors open for the buffet you better watch out! It's like a heard of cattle running! There are all kinds of delicious things on it. And for the most part, it's all farm to table. The dressings were divine, as were the potatoes, deviled eggs, brisket, stuffing, cheesecake, just everything! Just go!

I really enjoyed my Sunday brunch. Service was thoughtful and quick even though we didn't have a reservation. The buffet was like eating at grandma's after church. Today was roasted chicken and brisket. All the sides are homemade and seasoned well. Fresh produce, great fruit. I really am looking forward to another trip.

Larry Bruce Gardens is a must experience when in East Texas. Set back in the middle of Davy Crockett National Forest in Kennard, Texas, is a restaurant, gardens and vacation rentals. If you are in the mood to take a scenic drive, this is the place to visit. The people are friendly. The place is breathtaking and the Sunday buffet is scrumptious. You won't be disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem. The hot meal I had was fabulous. The owner Sara took our order She is really sweet and our server she was awesome too but I didn't get her name. The place is lovely and beautiful guitar music playing the whole time. We ate the lunch special on a Saturday. I have to stay I think it was the best brisket I ever had!

The food was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. We were passing through Davy Crockett National Forest and their sign caught my eye. We looked up their website and decided to stop there for lunch the next day and I'm so glad we did! We all enjoyed our lunch and we picked up some pickles, jalapeno jelly and habanero jelly for the house. We will definitely stop by again if we're in the area.
