Services
Tree Spraying
Professional tree spraying services target pests and diseases while preserving plant health. Our certified arborists use precision application methods to protect your trees' vitality. Treatments follow integrated pest management principles for environmentally responsible solutions.
Deep Root Fertilization
Custom-blended fertilization programs deliver essential nutrients directly to root systems. This specialized treatment improves tree growth and resilience against environmental stressors. Long Island-specific formulations address regional soil composition challenges for optimal results.
Lawn Aeration
Mechanical aeration creates pathways for air, water, and nutrients to reach grass roots. This process alleviates soil compaction and promotes thicker, healthier turf growth. Combined with overseeding, it transforms thinning lawns into dense, vibrant landscapes.
Pest Control
Targeted pest control solutions address specific infestations while minimizing environmental impact. Our certified specialists identify problem species and implement seasonally appropriate treatments to protect plant health and property aesthetics.
Soil Remediation
Comprehensive soil analysis identifies deficiencies and contamination issues. Custom remediation plans restore soil health through organic amendments and specialized treatments. This foundational work ensures long-term success for plantings and landscaping.

We would have never known that our tree had a Beatle infestation untill it was too late if Sterling Tree and Lawn didn't point it out to us and treated it. They are such experts. Hard to find landscapes like them let me tell you.

Critical: Quality What a horrible experience with this company. I would never use them, nasty workers & inappropriate behavior. Craig James is extremely unprofessional. Look elsewhere.

I travel a lot and don't have time to take care of my property the way it should be. I let Sterling Tree handle all the landscaping and I never have to worry about it. My property looks good all year round.

These guys are amazing. They transported a 20 ft tree for me from Long Island all the way down to Brooklyn. No one else was even willing to do the job but Sterling tree got it done. It wasn't cheap but they did exactly what we needed and with great care to the tree.

We had Sterling Tree transplant a beautiful fruit tree to our property and do some deep root fertilization to strengthen our trees and improve our soil. This is a great tree and lawn company to work with.

Upon being hired to inspect the work environment at sterling i am not to sure their practices are considered legal. Employees are to arrive at startling hours in the morning and are not released until a given 12 to 13 hours later. Their staff look very questionable, they have the vow of working with professional arborists but i observed that these guys most likely struggled just to get a work visa.
I do not believe these men are arbor or osha certified. I am concerned about the unfair practices forced upon employees with the threat of fire. Based on the topical observation i've made, this company requires immediate further investigation.

Sterling is by far one of the most knowledgeable, down-to-earth, professional individuals I've met. As a business owner myself, I understand how important it is to maintain a professional, iron-clad reputation. Sterling Tree & Lawn does a great job at that without a doubt. I highly recommend that everyone give them a call.
