We really appreciated the updates and pictures of your progress via email while we were out of town. The small details you put in your design like the granite boarder for the pavers and the symmetry in the plantings look great. Decks Report

Whether you have an existing deck you want to update, a deck you want to add on, or a set of steps down to your new patio, we can make sure it is done correctly and ties together with your landscape. Adding lighting to your deck can create a great nighttime atmosphere.

Grading & Drainage Report

Proper drainage helps to alleviate all of these problems. It starts with gutters on your house, or a crushed stone dripedge around the house to catch the water falling from the roof. We use crushed stone so the water doesn't splash back up and rot the bottom of your house as well. Whether your house is new construction, or an existing property with drainage issues, proper surface grading, in conjunction with subsurface drainage can help mitigate, and in some cases solve those basement water issues.

We used Ambi for a significant backyard improvement project. This involved a fairly large patio, retaining wall, firepit makeover, stepping stones up to our new yard game area, cleanup of a rocky hillside, and new plantings to enhance the finished look. The owner Kevin reviewed our property, quickly gave us a design that allowed us to envision how our backyard could be transformed, and followed up quickly with a quote.

He started the project even a bit earlier than estimated. Although Kevin was very involved with the patio paving, he also has a small, friendly team of professionals. Michelle provided some of the "muscle" to move those heavy paving stones(!) and mulch, Paul selected around 80 plants for our varied areas and was assisted by Brendan and Kevin in positioning and planting them.

And Chris was THE guy who spent a number of weeks making Kevin's plan a reality. The entire team was impressive. We have to call out Chris' talents: attention to detail, hard-working, meticulous, punctual, polite, and a good listener for our questions and comments. We would highly recommend the Ambidextrous Inc. team and think you would be very pleased with their services.

Kevin and his crew recently did a hardscaping project for me that involved repairing some brick steps. They did a perfect job and had it completed exactly when he said they would. I recommend Ambidextrous and I am sure I will be hiring them again sometime for future projects!
