History of Robert Ott Landscaping

Bob first got his hands dirty as he helped his mother landscape their new house in Toms River. He was nine years old. At twelve, he started cutting some of the neighbors' lawns, and by the age of seventeen he was handling 110 lawn maintenance accounts in a local retirement community. With the help of his mother's borrowed credit card, Bob purchased two brand-new, self-driven lawnmowers from Sears. It was a proud day. As customers' needs increased, more services were offered: Bushes needed trimming, so hedge clippers were bought.

Fertilizer Programs

I am happy and proud to announce that we have partnered with one of the state's largest Fertilizer and Weed control companies. Why do I bring this up? Because I want you all to know that some lawns may need more work and more applications than others. If we are on your lawn to make an application of fertilizer and a post emergent weed application, and see a fungus, (which is an "extra") we want to be able to treat the fungus while we're there. The sooner we can treat a problem, generally speaking, the sooner we can correct the problem, or at least stop or slow down any potential damage.
