Founded in 1971, Baxter Gardens began as a retail garden center and design build landscaping company in a growing St. Louis nursery market. After its establishment in Hazelwood, Missouri, William Weishaar Sr. became the sole owner and moved to its current location in Chesterfield, where it has become a cornerstone of the business community for over forty years.
