Suburban Lawn & Garden was started by Bill Stueck in the early 1950's as a lawn mowing business while he was in grade school. In the fifty plus years since, Suburban has grown into a multi-faceted retail, wholesale and service organization dedicated to the principles of growing superior products, providing excellent service and always delivering great value.

Since its inception in the 1950's, Suburban Lawn & Garden has maintained a reputation for quality, dependability, and value. Whatever your needs may be, our programs are custom-made just for you so please let us help you create a beautiful lawn! Your lawn and landscape will be treated with the proper concentrations of proven products for effective control of weeds and insects.

Since 1989, Suburban has been processing and recycling Kansas City's organic plant waste, keeping millions of tons of waste out of landfills, and turning it into compost and mulch instead. Regulated by the USDA, EPA and Missouri Department of Natural Resources; Suburban strives to offer the cleanest, friendliest, and most convenient Yardwaste site in the country. This facility is open to both residential and commercial customers 7 days a week in the spring, summer and fall, and 5 days a week in the winter.
