We are River Ridge Landscaping, a full-service design/build landscape company rooted in the Belding, Michigan community. Our strength lies in our ability to create a custom plan tailored to each client's unique project vision. We employ experienced designers and a licensed builder who bring specialized skill sets to every job. By leveraging our teams construction expertise, we can handle landscape projects ranging from new construction to full renovations. We coordinate with a trusted network of tradespeople to install outbuildings, decking, outdoor fireplaces, cook stations, patios, walkways, retaining walls, drainage, fencing, flagpoles, night lighting, irrigation, plantings, slope stabilization, and lawn grading or sodding. Although based in Belding, we proudly serve the greater Grand Rapids area and have traveled up to 150 miles to meet customer needs.
The majority of our work is residential, yet we complete several commercial installation projects each year. Our company was founded by Alan Rummler, who earned a Bachelor's of Science in Horticulture with an emphasis on Landscape Design-Build and a minor in Sports and Commercial Turf Management in 1999. After graduation, Alan spent seven years gaining hands-on experience with an established landscape firm in the Ada area before pursuing his own venture. In 2010 he obtained his builders license, allowing us to deliver true design/build solutions without relying heavily on subcontractors. We remain committed to professional standards, transparent communication, and delivering landscapes that exceed client expectations.
