In 1999 in Fort Collins, Colorado, Clint Lucas started Detailed Landscape; just him and a truck, a used trailer and a couple of lawnmowers given to him by his dad. It was a lawn mowing service at first - or at least it felt that way. But lawn care customers started asking for Clint's help with small projects, like installing rock and mulch, building flower beds and retaining walls, planting trees and shrubs and other modifications to their landscaping.Those small projects got bigger and bigger, and word of mouth recommendations pushed Clint and Detailed Landscape to evolve.

Our goal is to cultivate beauty through modern landscape design. With a team of horticulturists, designers and installation professionals, we create elegant designs that are attuned to their natural environment and flourish throughout the seasons.
