The drought this summer killed much of my lawn so I started looking for a reputable irrigation company to install a lawn irrigation company. I sent a request for info out to several vendors and Steve responded promptly and was able to squeeze me into his schedule at short notice. He thoroughly explained what they could provide and coordinated the installation with his crew. On the scheduled installation day they arrived early and had the system up and running by the afternoon. Very professional and courteous! I'm also quite pleased with the Rain Bird controller they installed. Job well done.

I used Clearwater Irrigation years ago and had a positive experience. Unfortunately this time, while my call was responded to quickly and the onsite tech was amazing, my issue came when I received my bill. I understand paying a flat rate for the visit and any repairs, what frustrated me was the lack of transparency when I asked the cost for the trip. There was an extra $55 fee added on my invoice.
When I questioned it, the response was "There is a service charge on every invoice. It pays for the drive to and from your home as well as gas, auto insurance, business insurance, maintenance, office expenses, envelopes, stamps etc." So instead of a $90 trip the base is $145. We will not be using them in the future.

Horrible experience both times I interacted with Steve, the owner, who usually organizes visits to the property. The first time, after giving a time window, say 10am-Noon, I was shopping at 9:15am and got a call from him wondering why I wasn't home. Long story short he was really rude and finished our conversation with, "I was told to never tell people sorry for being early." Next visit, they were moving a sprinkler head into my property as they placed it 2 feet into my neighbors yard.
After his staff acting as this was a major issues and they were going to fix their mistake ASAP, I got a bill from them. Not once was their any mention that there would have to be any compensation from me. They installed the system for the previous owner of this home but they will never be used again. Not only are they more expensive than other companies, but they like to sneak in extra expenses without being upfront about them. They may do good work in the yard, but be careful because from the top, they are rude and out for your money.

Steve and his crew of guys are the best in this business that I've ever experienced. Their initial quote for a complete system came in less than anyone else and I was skeptical. The final price came in exactly as estimated and on time. The best part? After they were done pulling in all the pipe and installing the heads, you couldn't even tell they had been there. They took perfect care not to disturb any more than they had to.
I've had them back twice on very short notice to move heads or install others when changing landscaping and they're on the spot when you need them bending over backwards to help. Can't say enough about their super service!

We had Steve from Clearwater irrigation install our irrigation system in our new home in Golden Valley. His crew did an excellent job. They were very quick, were professional and were in and out in one day. We opted for a special water controller which is totally connected to our phone so we can control it from anywhere. The controller is connected to wifi and the weather channel so if rain is on the way - it won't run and wast your water. Steve also did our first blowout of the system this fall and that was great too.
