I called this company for an estimate on site work on a new construction home I am building in the Bergen County NJ area. It took a long time to get a response and then when the owner came out he was very arrogant. Something in my gut didn't feel right and when I dug further in to the business I discovered they did not have the appropriate licenses, knowledge and credentials needed to do the job. The owner was looking to work a deal for $ so I ran the other way.

The Lady over the phone was very nasty and rude. Wouldnt answer most of my questions and was not helpful at all. Told me they are very busy this time of year and that I should know better to call them now. With so many other landscaping companies in the area, they're the ones who should know better that giving terrible service will end up putting them out of business.

Was sold a drain for the basement that Liam (owner) said would correct water problem in the basement and cost over $3000. The work was done by poorly trained and poorly supervised workers who did not use any plastic, drop cloths, etc.. and left my basement door open causing EVERY square inch of my house to be covered in inches of dust. After several calls by me, about 75% of dust was cleaned. I am long a distance owner and have subsequently rented home that required tenant to spend an additional $250 to have satisfactory cleaning completed.
In addition, original problem has only been partially corrected and when I informed Liam of this, he mispresented the truth and said this drain was for a totally different purpose. Lastly, Liam and his staff are now refusing to return my calls and do the right thing to correct this mistake and reimburse me for the additional cleaning. I can only give Tri-Valley Landscaping a very poor review and would not recommend them because of this bad experience.
