Working with Cathie on redoing our backyard was so wonderful and easy. She is very knowledgeable and came up with great ideas for our yard which we absolutely loved. The work was done in a time efficient manner and the results speak for themselves. We love spending time out on our new deck, looking out at the beautiful plants she chose to fill our yard, and listening to the new fountain she chose for us. We couldn't be happier! Thank you!

During the severe drought, I was looking for ways to change our traditional landscaping. During walks in my neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods I would take pictures of newly remodeled landscapes that I liked. I would also stop to talk to landscapers installing jobs and ask for a card. One morning I asked for a card from the designer on the job. Later, while reviewing my pictures of favorite landscapes, I discovered the designer's card matched two of my favorite designs!
It was a pleasure to work with Cathie Tritel of Bluestar Landscape Designers. Cathie is very knowledgeable and her eye for color and design is amazing. Cathie's attention to detail provided us with a beautiful yard. Upon completion of our yard, two neighbors have contracted with Bluestar Landscape Designers for their backyards.

Owner Cathie Tritel is very knowledgeable of plant, flower and tree placement in relation to sunrise/sunset orientation of homeowner's yard. Her project drawings are extremely detailed, leaving no room for speculation by the landscape contractor she selects. She also is exceptionally good at balancing design and color of all hardscape elements like Roman stamped concrete, seatwall, raised garden, flower pots, lighting, etc. with shrub, trees and flower placements.
Result for us was a well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing yard. She also is good at keeping the landscape contractor on schedule and ensuring all work meets her high quality standards. She even took the time to teach us yard care basics like pruning and proper watering. We are extremely glad we selected Bluestar to do our backyard makeover! Even though it's winter, flowers are blooming now!
