We have been operating our nursery and landscape business in Surry, Virginia since officially opening in the spring of 2002. Our journey began when we met online in mid-1997 and later combined our resources after Andy immigrated from Birmingham, England. We personally design and install every landscaping project without using outside crews, ensuring direct accountability. Our three-acre property features extensive display gardens with water features, stone walls, and thousands of hardy plants. We propagate and grow our own plant inventory, leaving mature specimens outdoors through winter to verify hardiness. Through decades of hands-on experience, we have developed specialized knowledge of local growing conditions and wildlife challenges.
We maintain environmentally responsible practices, using herbicides and pesticides only in extreme circumstances. Our landscaping services include free consultations, custom design, and full installation tailored to each client's property. We treat every client's yard with the same care and attention we apply to our own gardens. The majority of our new projects come from client referrals and repeat business, reflecting our commitment to satisfaction. We welcome visitors Wednesday through Sunday and offer group tours of our unique garden environments.

Landscape Installation
We personally execute every landscape installation without subcontractors, handling all aspects from planting to hardscape construction. Our hands-on approach ensures that each stone wall, stream, and planting bed meets our exacting quality standards. Clients receive a finished garden that reflects the same care we apply to our own grounds.
Free Consultations
We offer complimentary on-site consultations to discuss project scope, design ideas, and plant selection for residential landscapes. During these visits, we assess site conditions such as light exposure, drainage, and wildlife pressure. This initial meeting allows us to provide accurate estimates and establish a clear project vision.
Group Tours
We host guided group tours of our three-acre display gardens featuring ponds, waterfalls, and extensive perennial collections. Visitors gain practical insights into plant combinations, stone construction techniques, and wildlife habitat creation. These tours showcase our design philosophy and demonstrate the long-term performance of our landscaping methods.

Excellent, beautifully laid out. for koi pond lovers a wonderful selection. The owners are absolutely the best, spent a lot time explaining and recommending plants based on our objective. We have made this nursery our prime shopping center for plants. Prices are remarkable, Bill and Lori, Richmond, Va.

Large variety of plants in an awesome atmosphere with lots of cool water features and coy fish ponds! Extremely reasonable prices! Owners are very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!

Wonderful place with super friendly owners. A gem to walk through. Wish I had taken more photos. Lots of evergreens with beautiful Koi ponds and more, much more. You will not be disappointed. A peaceful place tucked in Surry.

The owners are two of the nicest people. Their plants are top quality, and prices are excellent. I am hoping my review is showing five stars - somehow it originally had two and that was NOT meant, because if I could I'd give them TEN stars! I hope I was able to correctly edit it. You've GOT to go there - the plants they have are mostly cultivated by Andy and Suzanne - and are of the best stock we've used in our gardens. And at such reasonable prices, too! Plus, their gardens/ponds are worth going just to see! So, GO! You won't regret it!
